Since 1907, the CHARLIER family has been pursuing its passion for thermal and mechanical engineering.
Historical
1907
Arsène Charlier begins his business in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau.
1958
His son, Serge Charlier, founds his company in Sainte-Cécile sur Semois and creates the Société Technique des Echangeurs de Chaleur S.A.G. which quickly established its presence nationally in the Belgian chemical industry, chimie.
1996
Pierre CHARLIER takes over from his father.
A policy of development was then decided upon, based upon the renewal of nearly the entire range of machinery and tools, the expansion and improvement of the workforce (manual and clerical staff), the expansion of manufacturing workshops and the acquisition of a second production unit and a clean area for the manufacture of equipment using white materials.
These investments have enabled S.A.G to become a leading figure on the chemicals market, to enter the petro-chemical, pharmaceutical and nuclear sectors and break into new European markets such as France, Germany and the Netherlands.
2008
The company undergoes a reorganisation into competence hubs and improves its offering of products and services under the auspices of SAG-Industries.
